: Equestrian Chic :

I love everything British, I visited London when I was 18 & fell in L O V E. Everything from the streets, homes, doors {I've got a thing for doors}, gardens, shopping, shows, the royalty {I am secretly obsessed with Royalty}, the cars...seriously I could go on and on..but instead I'll share some of the only photos I have of my trip to London {this was on my return from Albania with YWAM}

Once I returned home from this trip I quickly fell in love with Mr. L, the perfect mix of British, Irish & French, how could I go wrong? So this is a tribute to all that epitomizes casual British life to me - hope you enjoy!

What is your favorite style to wear & why?

Need some inspiration? Check out The Polohouse --- oooohhhhh!

: Remembered for? :

Elizabeth Taylor died yesterday - her death was all over the news, it wasn't a celebration of her life, even though she did lots of good on this earth. Instead it was about her reflection. What she portrayed, what she looked like, who she married {7 times}. She was a beautiful person, as for her soul -- I can't say. But her exterior was b e a u t i f u l. However, her life seemed still less than full.

This brought me to thinking about what I would be remembered for if I were to die. I know, I'm sick like that. But really, what would I remembered for? I guess on the exterior it would be my hair - that is my most complimented physical asset. But other than that, would I be remembered for my cheerful demeanor, my love for my boys {all three of them}, my respect for Mr. L...I truly don't know. I do know that I want to be known for my faith in the God of all my days, for He is where my eternity is.

My friends father died this past weekend. Everywhere they turn they have been revealing Christ in his life. They are preparing the memorial, a celebration of his life for this weekend. It's truly a celebration of what he loved and who he was. There is absolutely no question as to what was in his soul for he was filled with the love of Christ.

I don't know about you but I would much rather be known by the evidence of Christ in my life instead being famous or "look what she did" --- In Christ alone my hope is found.

Just my *Thursday Thoughts*, hope you have a wonderful day Lovelies!

: What I L O V E Wednesday :

I don't particularly L O V E Wednesdays that's precisely why I do this post ;) -- and I'm linking up with Little Daisy May today to share

So here are my "What I LOVE Wednesday" items for this week:

No. 1
~ Mumford & Sons: Simply cannot-get-enough.
See their performance here on the Grammy's

No.2 ~ 6 disposable coffee cups from Dollar Tree...these are new to Dollar Tree and my girlfriend showed them to me last night when we were in the states, price for 6 $1!!! I have them on hand for times when all our reusable travel mugs are dirty - or missing ;)
No. 3 ~ Genevieve Gorder is one of my favorite designers and I'm just loving her show currently on HGTV! She has not only great casual interior design elements but her personal style is absolutely phenomenal!

{photo credit here}
No. 4 ~ I'm loving the Spring, the later sunsets, the sunshine, the flowers...ahhh, so lovely!

No. 5 ~ I'm also loving that sooner than later we'll be planting these in the garden - bring on the SUMMER!!!
No. 6 ~ Loving the pile of lemons in my kitchen, I bought them to add a splash of colour for our showings. Does that trick at a super cheap price, and it reminds me of Tuscany...not sure why but it does - fresh, alive, relaxed, rejuvenated. Maybe we'll have to go there sooner than later!

Happy Wednesday Lovelies!!! It's a beautiful sunshiny day here and we're still on Spring Break!!! Lovin' these home days!

: Celebration in Spring :

Over the weekend we got together with Mr. L's side of the family to celebrate Jenn's birthday -- it was the first day of spring and the rain held off so we went for a long family walk down to the river. We had a great time watching the kids play and chit chatting together.

All of us girls - Mum looks like she was a little worried, I think she was worried from the fact that Dad had her new Iphone and she was worried about it ;) Those things have a sharp learning curve!

I hope you're enjoying the first official day of Spring, today we start the first day of Spring break and I am so glad to not have to be in my car today driving and picking up. We look forward to doing some date days {swimming/zoo/matinees} and maybe, just maybe we will sell our house this week! Now wouldn't that be nice!

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
